1990

Frankie is born on a Sunday afternoon, on September 2,1990. He is a beautiful baby with a head of shiny black hair.

 
1990 December
Frankie recieved the Holy Sacrament of Baptism. His Aunt Lucy and his Uncle Tony are his GodParents.
 
1991
Took his first steps on August 4 while on vacation at Villa Roma
 
1993
Attended Nursery School ! He cried the first week, but then loved it and never looked back
 
1994
Started pre-k at St. Ephrem's, Brooklyn, NY
 
1995
Spending summer vacations throughout childhood at Disney, Catskills. This summer was Aruba.

Great Fun
 
1994 to 2005
Frankie spent his summers at Poly Prep Day Camp with his best friend Justin and other close friends from St. Ephrem's . Learned to swim, enjoyed sports, had a blast !
 
1997
First Holy Communion. Big party with family and friends. Frankie wore a beautiful white silk suit.
 
1998
Frankie meets Gennaro who moves in across the street. One of his greatest friendships begins.
 
2001 March
Frankie wins first prize in the St. Ephrem's Science Fair for the schools first mummy!
 
2003 May
Frankie recieves Confirmation. His Grandpa who he loves so much is his sponsor.
 
2004 June
Frankie graduates and is ready for High School !
 
2005 June

Frankie finished a great first year at Xaverian High School. A month later he is diagnosed with cancer. He begins a spiritual journey that shapes him into a mature and outstanding young man who holds on to faith and hope.

 
2006 October
Frankie is in remission. He returns to Xaverian after being away for over a year. He is thrilled to be with his friends again and also to be back in the classroom. After being in the hospital for so long, he appreciates school very much.
 
2007 January
Frankie is diagnosed with a second cancer, leukemia. He leaves school once again and valiantly begins another battle.
 
2007 March
Frankie was featured in The Tablet newspaper as a winner in the Week of Prayer for Christian Unity Essay Contest. In his essay, he wrote, “With all the many trials and tribulations, both large and small, which are presented to all people, the greatest and most powerful tool to rejoice in humanity as well as aid humanity, is a very simple one – prayer.”
 
2007 July
Frankie is still battling but keeping hope alive. He writes to members of Congress encouraging them to support the Conquer Childhood Cancer Act 2007.
 
2007 September 14, 2007

Frankie leaves us to continue life in heaven where he lives in the fullness and happiness of Jesus. He watches over us from above and patiently waits for us to join him one day.
